Distrophonix specializes in serving the music community by providing marketing and distribution opportunities for artists, bands, and small labels. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Distrophonix was founded in 2003 by a group of musicians, for musicians. As a company with international reach, we have marketed, distributed, and worked with thousands of artists and labels.
Our goal is to help artists in all stages of development further their music careers and establish a strong online presence. Whether you wish to remain independent or hope to get signed, we can work with management and labels to create a program that works for you.
Distrophonix is a proud member of the Independent Online Distribution Alliance (IODA), a partner of Sony Music Entertainment.
Distrophonix is committed to making the world a better place!
Distrophonix is a carbon neutral company. Our office is completely powered by wind and solar energy!
We believe that that you don’t have to be a big company to make a big difference in the world. We also believe that the marketing, promotion, and sale of music can go hand in hand with helping others. That is why we support the Rising Star Music Fund.
The Rising Star Music Fund is a nonprofit organization established to make quality music instruction available to special needs children as well as children in underprivileged communities. This includes individual scholarships, organizational grants, and the creation of low-cost community programs with a music focus.
Distrophonix is a proud supporter of the Rising Star Music Fund and donates 50% of products and services sold on eBay.
We here at Distrophonix believe that we have an obligation as a company to give back to our community. That is why once a month all Distrophonix employees take time off work to go serve meals to the homeless and hungry of Baltimore City by volunteering at Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen. To see pictures of some of the work we do there, please check out our Facebook page.
